Bay Vets Dog Show at Caton Gala 2018

Bay Vets Dog Show at Caton Gala 2018

A few favourite images from 2018’s Bay Vets Dog Show at Caton Gala on 9th June

This is the third year I have had the pleasure of attending the show to take photos.

In 2016, it rained, rained, and rained some more. So much in fact that my camera broke and I ended up with nothing. I was hugely disappointed.

In 2017, it rained, rained, and…yep, rained some more! I had a dog walking client just before heading down so I was already soaked. Armed with a plastic bag over my camera I sat there taking photos, admiring the people who didn’t let the weather stop them from having a good time!

This year we have had only a few days of rain since the start of May, and I think everyone was waiting with baited breath to see if it Gala day would bring the rain back as usual. The night before checking the weather it had forecast rain.. at 1. The show started at 2. Then as the day came, the rain seemed to be getting forecast for later on in the day – we were treated to more blue skies! Finally!

I had decided to have a stall this year, and I was pleased to meet those who came by and said hello!

Onto the show.

The dogs were spoiled by having a huge pool to play and cool down in – some were a bit wary but soon got into the swing of things!

The classes were full, and all the dogs were so nice! I enjoyed editing the photos and seeing all the faces properly!

I hope you enjoy these as much as I did – well done to all!
